When I charged law enforcement with Unlawful Imprisonment and Criminal Negligence for their conduct in a forced plea situation, I was told I’d “lost my mind.”

Maybe. But I’d rather lose popularity than lose principle.

The minute we allow backroom deals and unrecorded coercion to become the norm, we lose our right to call this a justice system.

Some call it radical. I call it baseline ethics.

If I lose allies for standing up to abuse — then those were never allies I needed in the first place.
