“The Deal That Didn’t Die”

Posted by Travis E. Tapps

There’s a case that never reached trial. One where the plea was written in pencil and erased before ink could set. A suspect walked. No paper trail. No hearing. Just… gone.

When I asked where the file was, I got three shrugs and a form letter.

If the justice system keeps no record of mercy, how do we know who it's truly serving?

Sometimes, silence is the confession. I’m keeping notes.
